Dr. Lubomir Serafimov | Dentist West Saint Paul

Dr. Lubomir Serafimov grew up in Sofia, capital of Bulgaria, and lived there until he moved to the United States with his wife, Tania, in 1998. He worked and studied hard to reestablish his dental credentials and in 2003, he obtained his dental license in Minnesota.

An owner of Serafimov Dental, a West St. Paul family dental practice that has been established for over 30 years, Dr. Serafimov bought the practice from Dr. Glenn Stratton in 2004. Being a fourth generation dentist continuing family tradition, Dr. Lu specializes in a variety of dentistry fields including porcelain veneers, cosmetic solutions and implant restorative procedures. From endodontic, worry-free anxiolysis/minimal sedation dentistry to comprehensive full mouth rehabilitation, Dr. Lu is the dentist of choice allowing you to get all your dental needs and desires completed in one office.

Graduated with highest honors from Medical University School of Dentistry in Sofia, Bulgaria, Dr. Serafimov has trained in many programs including the Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Nitrous Oxide Sedation Board Certification and is active in two study clubs: Twin Cities Orthodontic Study Club and Minnesota Academy of Comprehensive Dentistry.

Besides dentistry, Dr. Lu loves to spend time with his family: wife Tania and three children Ivan, Sophia and Estella. He likes to travel abroad to explore new cultures and meet new people. He is active in sports, loves to play tennis, swim, enjoys biking and simply spending time outdoors.
